A homeowner who took a picture of her new house claims she discovered to her horror that it was haunted when she spotted a ghost staring out at her through a window.
Michelle Midwinter went outside her new property in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, to take a picture to show her friends on Facebook.
But when the 30-year-old examined the image closer she realised to her shock that there was a face looking out at her – and now believes her new home is haunted.
‘I went outside and took a picture but after initially admiring the brickwork the face just sort of jumped out at me,’ she told MailOnline.
‘I ran into the house to make sure no one was in there because I knew everyone else was at work, but it was just me and my two-year-old daughter.’
Ms Midwinter, a mobile phone case designer, said none of her friends could explain the ghostly apparition.
In addition, bizarre goings-on in the house – including a clock falling off the wall – have convinced her there is a supernatural force living there.
Local historian Andrew Jones, 50, believes the photo bears a striking resemblance to Samuel Kent, the father of infamous murderer Constance Kent, who killed her three-year-old brother when she was 16 in 1860.
